WIGANtoday (6th June 2012) – Wigan town centre ground to a halt after scaffolding collapsed into the street, injuring one man. Police were called to Prescott Street at around 3.30pm today to find that the road was completely blocked by the scaffolding, which had fallen off the face of a nearby building.
